AmeriSpec offers extensive training to its franchisee owners. Our initial training covers the technical, business management and technology aspects necessary to open and grow your home inspection franchise.
The AmeriSpec training program takes place in our state-of-the-art facility. We've built a full-scale model house that is complete with working systems and components. It even includes a roof that demonstrates how shingles, flashing and roofing look when properly installed.

The AmeriSpec training methodology uses the Training Center's model house to supplement our classroom coursework with practical, hands-on training. Most people learn more quickly utilizing this format. You'll see the results: practical comprehension and retention of skills you'll use every day in the field.
The AmeriSpec Academy is a two-week intensive training course that takes place at the Memphis, Tennessee Training Center. Week one focuses on the technical aspects of conducting a home inspection. Over 400 items of home inspection are reviewed. You'll gather data on real houses, be coached on the inspection report format, the AmeriSpec Home Inspection Software, report generation and the presentation of your findings to your clients.
During week two, you will focus on marketing and managing your business. The week is segmented into the three critical core competencies needed to operate the business, marketing, business and risk mangement and technology. You will evaluate your market, develop marketing and risk management strategies, determine your target audience, and understand how to use technology and resources to efficiently handle day-to-day business activities. At the end of week two, you'll have created short- and long-term business plans and you will have the training critical to the growth of your business.
